OSI Food Solutions Has A History Of Success That Is Showing No Signs Of Slowing Down:

OSI Food Solutions is one of the worlds largest food processing, wholesale distribution and food solutions companies. The organization has been working in the United Kingdom for some time now and 2016 saw the awarding of a prestigious honor to the food company. The Globe of Honour is presented annually by the British Safety Council to organizations and companies who achieve a 5-Star rating with the council and demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability. OSI Food Solutions maintains a constant focus on keeping its facilities environmentally sustainable as part of the goal of responsible environmental management.

OSI Food Solutions CEO and Chairman Sheldon Lavin also received an impressive award in 2016 when he was given the Global Visionary Award by India’s Vision World Academy in recognition of his lofty achievements with OSI Food Solutions.

OSI has racked up several impressive accomplishments in Europe in recent years. 2014 saw the forging of a valuable partnership with British beef company Pickstock and 2016 saw the acquisition of British food wholesaler Flagship Europe and Dutch food wholesaler Baho Food. These acquisitions have OSI sitting in a great position in the coming decade to continue to be one of the most successful food processing and distribution companies operating in the European market. Flagship Europe will undergo the name change to Creative Foods Europe. The company also made a large investment in the Toledo, Spain facility in order to increase production of processed chicken. The investment is paying off as chicken production has doubled at the facility. This was a much-needed boost as the Spanish and Portuguese markets have been demanding much larger quantities of chicken in recent years. All of these upgrades and acquisitions are predicted to bring in many new high profile corporate accounts into the OSI Food Solutions customer base.

About OSI Food Solutions:

That early success was built on in the 1970s when the company came under the guidance of Sheldon Lavin. He pushed the company to expand across all of North America and then globally. Today, OSI Food Solutions operates over 80 facilities spread out across the companies 17 countries that it does business in.

Alex Paul’s Artisric Emergence

Mathais Rosenzwaig recently interviewed Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, the DJ duo from the popular dance music band The Chainsmokers. In this interview, Alex Pall gave a brief history of the duo’s connection and their vision of the artists they are becoming.

Alex Pall loved electronic music as a young person. He worked as a DJ in his spare time to earn extra money. Soon he found that he was more passionate about dance music than he was about his full time job. The more gigs he performed, the more excited about music he became. Alex Taggart had the same passion for dance music as Alex Pall. Taggart had experience in producing music. His was also a DJ in Maine. Taggart was introduced to Pall when he came to New York. Pall and Taggart had an instant connection.

Soon this duo started working together 9am to 7pm daily. Fast forward four years later, Taggart and Pall form The Chainsmokers, who then top the pop music charts. Their instant connection has created widely popular music and desire for new identity as artists that connects with each listener of their music. Pall mentioned in their interview that his music is for all people who feel something good when listening to his tracks; regardless of: age, gender, background, or social status.

With their track “Closer”, Pall and Taggart step out of the dance music box. In today’s dance music scene, most DJ’s do not sing on their own tracks, but with the single “Closer” Andrew Taggart does his own vocals and tells his own personal experience with his ex-girlfriend. On future tracks, Pall wants to mix music genres such as hip-hop, indie, pop, and dance music to create a new identity for himself and Taggart as artists.

Halsey, and other artists have helped them create hit singles. As The Chainsmokers continue to create fresh, popular tracks, they want more control of their music. Pall explains that the music has become more than just a way to pay the bills, and but about growing as an artist, and creating relevant, quality, and melodic music.
